University of Central Missouri - Jennies Soccer Stadium Entry

TESSERE partnered with the University of Central Missouri Athletic Department to create a vision for the future of the Jennies Soccer Team’s home field and supporting amenities. As the program continues to grow in success and visibility, the need for an enhanced game‑day experience and a stronger home‑field advantage has become increasingly important for both player support and future recruitment.

The resulting master plan outlined a comprehensive suite of improvements. A new entry building serves as the anchor to the facility and includes ticketing, concessions, locker rooms, restrooms, storage, a coach’s office, a media suite, and VIP/hospitality areas. Adjacent to this entry building, a flexible play zone was incorporated, designed both as a space for children on game days and as an all‑weather practice area for the team.

Additional features include a covered viewing area designed for standing spectators or guests using bag chairs, accompanied by nearby concession and gathering spaces. The existing bleachers remain in place, enhanced by improved lighting. The gravel parking lot is redesigned as organized asphalt parking, with landscaping and fencing added to create a buffer between vehicles and the game‑day environment.

Overall, these improvements will transform what was once a simple recreational field into a truly unique experience the Jennies can be proud to call home.
