The Green Street Downtown Market development is transforming the heart of Lee’s Summit into a vibrant destination that brings the community together.

This mixed-use project creates a pedestrian-friendly environment that blends public and private spaces, offering an experience that is dynamic and inviting. Public components include a Farmers Market, a community gathering space, and outdoor areas designed for festivals and events. Complementing these public amenities are private developments that will feature housing, restaurants, retail spaces, and a boutique hotel.

The design honors the historic character of downtown while complementing the neighboring City Hall. By extending the district by one city block, the project enhances the urban fabric and creates continuity throughout the area. The development incorporates green spaces, plazas, and fountains to create inviting areas where the community can gather and celebrate all that Lee’s Summit has to offer.

Spanning 171,000 SF on 3.93 acres, with 87,800 SF dedicated to public space, the Downtown Market is already making a significant and lasting impact on the city.
