The latest prototype for the Hyatt Place brand (3.0 version 1.1) opened four months ahead of schedule on the Innovation Campus at Wichita State University. This 60,000‑square‑foot design‑build project brings a full‑service lodging option to campus, allowing future students, alumni, visiting athletic teams, business travelers, and the public to stay within walking distance of university sporting venues, campus housing, retail, and the many strategic‑partner corporations located on the Innovation Campus.

The four‑story hotel includes 106 guest rooms and a robust lineup of amenities designed to enhance the guest experience. Features include an indoor swimming pool, fitness center, meeting rooms, dining area, full bar, guest laundry, and a covered outdoor patio.
