Larksfield Place Memory Care

After experiencing significant growth, this retirement community sought to broaden its appeal by introducing additional levels of continuing care. TESSERE developed a comprehensive 20‑year master plan that envisions a fully integrated campus including a wellness center, dementia care facility, neighborhood park and recreation areas, expanded lake features, walking and exercise trails, a chip‑and‑putt golf course, a memorial arboretum, and a community center.

As part of this long‑term vision, TESSERE designed a new 89,000‑square‑foot care facility on the community’s 30‑acre campus. The project consists of three connected buildings dedicated to assisted living, memory care, and shared commons space. The assisted living component includes 40 apartments arranged in neighborhood clusters, each featuring spas, sitting areas, screened porches, and laundry facilities. Memory care residents live in secure neighborhoods of 16 private rooms organized around a central dining and activity area, complete with a kitchen, spa room, living room, and dedicated activity spaces.
