TESSERE partnered with Dodge City High School to complete a 45,000‑square‑foot pre‑engineered metal building that expands the school’s athletic footprint and integrates seamlessly with the existing field house. The project was driven by the closure of Dodge City’s only public bowling alley during the pandemic, which left student‑athletes with limited access to training and long commutes for practice. In response, the district invested in a dedicated, on‑campus facility that broadens athletic opportunities and elevates the quality of its sports infrastructure.
The completed addition features an eight‑lane, competition‑grade bowling center with spectator seating, dedicated player storage, and Brunswick’s state‑of‑the‑art string pinsetter technology. New restrooms and a modern weight room connect directly to the existing field house, creating a cohesive, high‑performance training environment. Both the bowling center and weight room were designed to reflect and reinforce Dodge City High School’s branding and identity.
TESSERE also supported site improvements that enhanced circulation, strengthened utility connections, and added a new overhead door on the north side of the field house to improve maintenance and repair access. Together, these upgrades provide student‑athletes with improved facilities, greater convenience, and expanded opportunities for competitive training.
