Wichita Art Museum The Living Room

TESSERE partnered with the Wichita Art Museum to renovate the front entry vestibule and enhance both the Living Room Space and Art Studio. The updated vestibule offers a new welcome area with improved access to the galleries and refreshed furnishings.

Renovations to the Living Room Space involved removing existing elements, including the ramp and several walls, to create a more open and flexible layout. Improvements included new flooring suitable for a variety of activities, targeted wall updates at the stairs, built‑in seating niches, a new storage room, fresh wall paint, and updated track lighting heads.

Enhancements to the Art Studio focused on refreshing the space with new laminate applied to existing casework and updated wall finishes. The completed renovations provide the museum with brighter, more functional, and more inviting spaces for visitors of all ages.
