Army Reserve Center - Denton Texas

Army Reserve Center

Denton, TX

Denton, Texas

We designed this 47,000 SF project in Denton, Texas, which includes a multifunctional training building with assembly hall, classrooms, library, weapons simulator, equipment storage, administrative offices, fitness center, and shower/locker rooms. It also includes a three-bay vehicle maintenance shop with parts, tool and equipment storage areas, shop offices, lubricant distribution systems, vehicle exhaust systems, a 10-ton bridge crane, and unheated storage. The award-winning Denton Army Reserve Center (ARC) was designed and constructed to support combat readiness training for 240 Reserve soldiers in preparation for overseas deployment. Careful analysis of the building, coupled with innovative technologies and sustainable building materials, ensured building goals would be met or exceeded throughout the ARC’s life cycle, and also earned it the Army Corps of Engineers Headquarters’ “Lean, Clean and Green” Award.
