Throughout 2020 and 2021, Pella Windows and Doors of Wichita saw a boom of home renovation business across their Kansas markets, leaving the company with a need to expand the space for its operations facility. TESSERE has partnered with the company, providing Architectural services, to relocate its headquarters from its current downtown Wichita location to Webb Industrial Park in Northeast Wichita, at 4055 N. Toben.
Jim Knight, president of Pella’s Kansas operations, told the Wichita Business Journal in a recent interview, “We’re really excited about the space,” he said. “We think it fits our business really, really well for not just for the next year or two, but five or 10 years into the future.” Read the full interview here.
The new headquarters is positioned as an interior tenant infill of around 56,700-square-feet with exterior modifications. Exterior modifications include new dock equipment, new drive-in ramps with railing, and additional storefront window openings in the new office area, matching the existing building’s aesthetic.
The 18,500-square-foot interior office space covers two floors and includes a reception area, 14 private offices, an executive conference room, an open office concept with space for 28 individual workspaces, a large showroom, and a training room.
