When Starbucks set out to open a new location on Wichita State University’s Innovation Campus, specifically within Braeburn Square, they turned to TESSERE for design services. The 2,000‑square‑foot café opened in March 2017, quickly becoming a favorite stop for coffee lovers both on and off campus.
Positioned along the Innovation Campus’ pedestrian mall, the Starbucks features a spacious outdoor plaza and sits adjacent to the Marcus Welcome Center, a primary hub for campus tours and prospective students. The addition of a drive‑thru window provides added convenience and serves as a major draw for the greater Wichita community.
