Advancing Conservation Through Transparency and Discovery
Tiger Trails & Den Academy reimagines how guests connect with wildlife conservation by bringing animal care, education, and immersive habitat design together in a single experience. Designed around the Zoo’s renowned Sumatran tiger program, the project provides opportunities for visitors to observe daily care, training, and wellbeing practices while learning about efforts to protect one of the world’s most endangered big cats.
At the heart of the experience is a new educational environment that encourages young learners to explore conservation through hands-on STEM experiences and interactive discovery. Through engaging exhibits and activities, guests gain insight into animal care, scientific research, and the challenges facing wildlife in the wild.
Inspired by the legacy of Mark and Bette Morris, the project celebrates innovation in animal wellbeing while fostering the next generation of conservation advocates. Together, the habitat and education spaces create a destination focused on learning, connection, and the future of wildlife conservation.
